Long before the coming of Christ, ignorance reigned supreme in the world.Apparently there was nothing forming the basis on the ground of truth because even the prophet, who tried to make an impact were never regarded;therefore people could not really differentiate between right and wrong.
They were like sheeps without a shepherd, and followers without a leader. It is now obvious that God’s divine plan of sending his only beloved son to the world to save and redeem men, was due to the fact that he was displeased with their ways.
The prophet,Isaiah spokeabout the coming of Christ in the book of Isaiah 9:2-7:
“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.they lived in a land of shadows but now, light is shining on them.
You have given them great joy, Lord;you have made happy.
They rejoice in what you have done, and rejoice when they harvest their corn or when they divide captured wealth.
For you have broken the yoke that burden them and the rod that beat their shoulders.
You have defeated the army
and all their bloodstained clothing will be destroyed by fire.
Vs 6: A child is born to us!
And he will be our ruler.
He will be called wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,Eternal Father,Prince of peace.
Vs 7: His royal power will continue to grow. His kingdom will always be at peace. He will rule as king David’s successor, basing his power on *right* and *justice* from now till the end of time.
The Lord Almighty is determined to do all this”
From your understanding of the above^ isn’t apparent that Christ came into the world in order to save us from all kinds of oppression from the enemies?that he is the truth that has come to set men free from all kinds of slavery?
I do hope your answers would be yes.
In him and with him, there is Truth, there is Light and there is eternal life for all who will hear his word, believe in it and become doers of it.

“I may be able to speak the language of human beings and even of angels, but if i have no love,my speech is no more than a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching; i may have all the knowledge and understand all secrets ;i may all the faith needed to move mountains-but if i have no love,i am nothing. I may give away everything i have, and even give up my body to be burnt-but if i have no love, this does me no good.
Loue is patient and kind;it is not jealous or conceited or proud;love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable;love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth.Love never gives up;and its faith, hope, and patience never fail”
*St.Paul stressing on the need and importance of ‘love’ to human life-in its letter to the Corinthians:13:1-7.

The English dictionary defines way as a line of communication between or linking two places.A space free of obstacles so that people can pass;a specified direction.
Thus,God’s love for humanity has been in existence ever since the word was created.Having created every other thing, the bible made us to understand in the Genesis 1:26-27 that He created human beigns in his own image & likeness & bless them, giving them dominion over every other creations.
John 3:16 places special emphasis on God’s love for mankind in the sense that he sent his only beloved son to the world in order for mankind to be saved. In the form of a man,Jesus Christ came into the world,by a holy and immaculate conception through Mary, his blessed mother-so that he can carry out the work of he who sent him and for the sake that men could believe. Therefore acting as the direct representative of God,Jesus Christ came and has made us to understand, through his teachings that the Almighty creator, whose love for us is infinite, simply want us to love him,to serve him as the one God,to have reverence for him and to abide by his commandments.
He who seeks God,the father must go through the son,Jesus and it is by going his way that one will be saved.

The Appellation is Evangelical. A typical kind of Evangelism inspired by Wisdom, Love, and the Truth. Therefore the concept of this blog is based on these three great virtues for the betterment of human life and as a guide to living it-In continuation of Christ's mission to save and redeem; That Good may triumph over evil in every heart and that the Truth May be recognized, accepted and also May triumph over falsehood and every form of vices in our world.
